"... There is an old garden and an" old "Nishi-gobo
shobo bou" that was one of the stores of the Mitsuji Temple.
In this era where the historical environment is easily
destroyed, many people have known this place that after 360 years ... today we
establish "za za" as a place to protect and enjoy in the future ...
"
Toshiko Hashimoto, society that protects the old shogyo and the old
gardens
I'm not alone, there are more artists doing
their own works.
I perceive the house and let the house perceive
me.
Open and close countless doors, wander, walk,
sometimes dance.
Everything is random.
During the course of the day the light changes
And now my movement adds new stories to the
stories of this building.
* The term site-specific refers to a type of artistic work specifically
designed for a particular location, from which emerges a unique interrelation
with space. If the piece moves from the specific place where it has been
assembled, it loses a substantial part, if not all, of its meaning.
